Order Processing:

Standard Ground orders take up to 3 business days (Mon.-Fri.) to process in our warehouse. If an order is placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, it will ship out within 3 business days the following week. You will receive an email once your order ships or if any status changes. Please allow up to 4 business days (Mon.-Fri.) to receive a shipping communication email or a status change update. While the order is processing at our warehouse, the status doesn’t change and will remain “In Progress”. Orders containing fabric that is cut by the yard, may take on the higher end of our processing time. Items shipping direct from the manufacturer will take additional processing time and ship separate from the remainder of your order.

Product Availability:

Orders are accepted with the understanding that stock is available. In some cases, limited availability may prevent us from shipping the quantity you requested, but we will do our best to fulfill your complete order. If your order contains an item that is cut by the yard (ex. Fabric), please know that we will make every attempt to provide one cut of fabric, but we may need to fill your order in multiple cuts.  You will receive an email if the status changes on any of the product within your order. Please allow up to 4 business days (Mon-Fri) to receive any status changes.

Shipping Delivery:

Standard: 

Orders delivered within the 48 contiguous United States or to the Canadian Provinces of AB, BC, MB, NB, NL, ON, NS, SK and PE should arrive in 6 – 9 business days depending on delivery location. Orders delivered to Alaska, Hawaii and the Canadian Provinces of NT, NU, and YT, should arrive in 14 – 21 business days. Please note that effective September 30, 2016, we will no longer be able to ship to Canadian addresses. Orders delivered to an APO/FPO, and any U.S. Territory address, should arrive in 20 – 30 business days. These delivery estimates include order processing time. Orders shipping direct from the manufacturer may take an additional 1-3 days for delivery.

Express:

Express delivery is only available to our customers who ship orders in the 48 contiguous United States. Express delivery orders will be processed on the same day if they are placed by 11:00am ET on a business day, and should arrive in 3 business days. Orders placed after 11:00am ET will be processed on the following business day, and should arrive in 4 business days. Not all items are eligible for Express delivery.

Express Plus:

Express Plus delivery is only available to our customers who ship orders in the 48 contiguous United States. Express Plus delivery orders will be processed on the same day if they are placed by 11:00am ET on a business day, and should arrive in 2 business days. Orders placed after 11:00am ET will be processed on the following business day and should arrive in 3 business days. Not all items are eligible for Express Plus delivery.

What is the “Special Handling” charge?

For some items shipping with in the U.S. and U.S. Territories, a per item handling surcharge may apply due to the size and weight of the item. These items are noted in the Shipping Tab on the Product Detail Page. Special handling will be automatically calculated and shown in your Shopping Cart.

For Canadian orders, the special handling fee covers the internal resources and administrative costs associated with an international order, will be automatically calculated and shown in your Shopping Cart. This fee is non-refundable upon return.

Shipping Restrictions

Certain products are not eligible for Express and Express Plus delivery. Please refer to the Shipping Info tab on the Product Detail Page for specific product eligibility.

 Shipping FAQs

Q: What types of shipping class services do you offer?

A: FlamingoFabric.net® uses a variety of carriers and methods to ship your order as efficiently as possible.

  • Standard shipping for orders with delivery addresses in the United States, APO/FPO, and US Territories are sent via FedEx SmartPost, or FedEx Ground.

  • Standard shipping for orders with delivery addresses in Canada are sent via DHL Global Mail.

  • Express and Express Plus orders are delivered using FedEx.

  • Gift cards and home décor swatches are sent via U.S. Postal Service. At this time, these items are not eligible for delivery to Canada.

Q: When do I have to place my order to qualify for Express or Express Plus shipping?

A: You must place your order by 11:00am ET. If your order is placed after 11:00am ET, it will be processed on the following business day.

Q: What does “Business Day” refer to for shipping delivery time estimates?

A: When estimating your order’s arrival date, please do not include weekends and holidays.

Q: How do I know if an item has a handling surcharge?

Q: Can all items be shipped via Express or Express Plus service?

A: No. Some bulky or oversized items, cut-to-order fabrics or hazardous materials cannot be shipped via Express or Express Plus service. We will be happy to ship these items standard delivery. If you have items in your cart that require Express or Express Plus shipping, please enter a separate order.

Q: Do you ship to post office boxes?

A: Only orders shipping from our warehouse can ship to P.O. boxes and will be delivered within the United States by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Orders shipping directly from our manufacturers cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Canadian P.O. box orders will be delivered by DHL.

Q: Do you ship Internationally?

A: Currently, FlamingoFabric.net® ships to Canada, excluding the province of Quebec. Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to ship to Canadian addresses after September 30, 2016, with the exception of military bases (see below). If you live near the Canada-US border, we hope you’ll still visit us at one of our border stores. As always, you can still find projects, videos and inspiration on FlamingoFabric.net®.

Q: Do you ship to military bases?

A: Yes. Please keep in mind that delivery to military addresses may take longer than the stated times.

Q: Do you ship to rural route numbers?

A: Yes, standard shipping only.

Q: Can I send items to multiple addresses with the same order?

A: Not at this time. To ship items to different addresses, please enter separate orders for each address.

Q: Where is my Backorder?

A: At this time FlamingoFabric.net® does not accept backorders. If an item is out of stock at the time of fulfillment we will ship the balance of your order and adjust your order total including shipping. In some cases, when your item is shipping directly from the manufacturer, we may notify you of a delay and hold your order until the manufacturer can ship it.

Q: Why was an item on my order canceled and will I be charged?

A: While we do our best to fulfill all of our orders, occasionally we have to cancel an item on an order due to availability. You will receive a separate email letting you know about this cancellation and your credit card will not be charged. When originally placing the order, we placed an authorization on your credit card or PayPal account allows FlamingoFabric.net to make sure the account is valid and has the necessary funds available to process your order. An authorization is a pending charge or hold on a payment account and is not a true charge. Your payment method will not charged if we did not ship your order. The release of an authorization may also appear as a refund on a credit card statement, or the authorization may be deleted from the account entirely. The void may take 7 business days (or longer, depending on your bank) to appear.

Q: Why did my order come in multiple boxes or from multiple carriers?

A: We may ship your order to you in multiple boxes or via multiple carriers due to:

  • The order size — large orders often are split into multiple boxes for more efficient delivery.

  • The item’s size — some items required special handling and packaging and thus a separate box.

  • The item’s source — some items will come to you directly from the manufacturer.
